Mom
Welcome

In Loving Memory of

Tillie Bateson

1911 - 1993

Tillie

"Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there, I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain, I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning's hush, I am the swift uplifting rush. Of quiet birds in circled flight, I am the soft star that shines at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there, I did not die"

Mom did not die, She will forever live in the hearts and lives of ALL who knew her. Tillie (Hagar) Bateson was born on September 5,1911, and went to Heaven on October 16,1993.

“MY HERO”

(written by my neice, Julie Punches, while Mom was in nursing home)

My Hero is my Grandma. The reason she is my hero is because she surprized everyone. In 1989 she found out that she had bone cancer. The cancer was spreading all over her body, she wasn't suppose to make it over a month. She did make it. In 1990 she had one breast removed because of breast cancer. My Grandmother has high blood preasure, and she is a diabetic. It is now 1993 and my Grandma is in a nursing home. She's struggling everyday to survive. Her kidneys have stopped, and she has congestive heart failure. The Doctors gave her two days to live, last Friday. She's still alive, but not well. My Grandma is a fighter and she never gives up; I hope when I get older,  I am just like her.

I LOVE YOU GRANDMA.
